Ron Hockersmith: Engineer turned brewer and entrepreneur

Meet Ron. Ron Hockersmith is a savvy and gregarious engineer turned brewer-entrepreneur who loves Milwaukee.

Co-founder and co-owner of Amorphic Brewing in the Riverwest neighborhood, Ron was born and schooled in Arizona. He came to Milwaukee [over] 20 years ago [“quote on chasing girl and job”]

The taproom has quietly become a trendy gathering spot attracting community events, business socials, and a spot on neighborhood bar crawls.

Ron lives in Bay View with his partner and often bikes up to work. He puts his personal touch into the business, spending upwards of 70 hours a week.

He also plays hard. Ron plays ice hockey. During winters, you might find him with buddies playing a pick-up game on Humboldt Park Lagoon. When snow is scarce, indoors at the Petit Center or MSOE’s Kern Center, [quote about best ice in milwaukee].
